Since 2021, YARD ENERGY has diversified its investment strategy, shifting away from wind energy to focus on a broader range of companies within the renewable energy sector. This portfolio expansion includes investments in firms that develop and manage electric vehicle charging stations, as well as those producing carbon capture scrubbers for marine applications.

In 2024, YARD ENERGY transitioned its portfolio management responsibilities to Move Energy,
marking a significant change in its operational structure.

Currently, YARD ENERGY is actively pursuing transactions within the renewable energy industry. The company’s strategy emphasizes optimizing the financial benefits associated with these investments, particularly by leveraging available subsidies and tax incentives specific to the renewable energy sector.

2004	Yard CAPITAL was founded, LATER RENAMED TO YARD ENERGY
2005	Acquired a wind project under development which was sold to INTERNATIONAL POWER LTD
2009	Raised €60M+ from PRIVATE INVESTORS to acquire 15 wind projects under development
2013	Acquired 750 MW of wind projects ACROSS EUROPE and became a top three Dutch privatELY OWNED wind developer
2014	Established a JOINT VENTURE with Maas Capital (ABN AMRO) for investments in Finnish wind projects
2015	Acquired a 20% stake in Lagerwey Wind which company was successfully sold to Enercon in 2018

2016	Signed a framework agreement with Eurus Energy for the sale of 330 MW of wind projects
2020	Structured €600M of debt and equity for construction of windfarms in the Netherlands
2020	LAUNCHED YARD ENERGY TRANSITION FUND I
2021	sold wind farm Drawsko in poland and delivered last wind project to Eurus Energy
