Triodos takes stake in crowd funding platform

Triodos Sustainable Finance Foundation has taken a 15% stake in the online investment platform With this cooperation both parties aim to increase the investment options in renewable energy for private investors.

Triodos Sustainable Finance Foundation – which is managed by Triodos Investment Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Triodos Bank – finances initiatives that accelerate sustainable development worldwide. offers private investors the opportunity to invest directly into renewable energy projects and by doing so fits very well with the objectives of Triodos Sustainable Finance Foundation. is one of the few crowd funding platforms in The Netherlands operating under an AFM license.
